Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty (nasal surgery)
A rhinoplasty is performed in order to reshape the nose. Appearance can be improved for those people who are dissatisfied with the shape and size of their nose, and breathing problems. Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure in which deformities of the nose are corrected by removing, rearranging, or reshaping bone or cartilage. Septoplasty is a surgical procedure that is done to fix a deviated septum. A deviated septum occurs when the cartilage that sepeated your nostrils is out of position. This can cause breathing problems, nosebleeds, and pain. The main goal of septoplasty is to correct the alignment of your septum in order to improve airflow through your nose.
